Garrigill Village Hall Bunkroom is a great place for an overnight stopover for walkers and cyclists, ideally situated for the Pennine Way and C2C cycle route.
It's £18 per person per night and optional bedding hire of £5 per stay. Just book and pay online. For larger groups, there's also camp beds in the main hall @ £10.
Learn about the village pub renovations, poor mobile phone reception, parking, bringing dogs - and in summer months, not to forget your midge repellent.
There aren't any eating places in Garrigill. If you're not bringing your own supplies, why not place an advance order with the village stores on 01434 381257.
Sadly, there's no public transport to and from Garrigill. Nearest bus is Alston, 4 miles away. Our village garage does run a taxi service however.
