Jazz in the Village - Saturday 16th November at 8pm

A welcome return to Garrigill Village Hall by celebrated Scottish jazz duo Ian Millar (saxophone) and Dominic Spencer (piano).

The Edinburgh-based duo's "Jazz in the Village" performances have entertained appreciative audiences in the intimate settings of their village halls throughout the UK. Ian and Dominic interact creatively to deliver melodic improvisations on jazz standards and original compositions which explore, improvise and develop melodic ideas with innovation and panache. Many of Ian's own pieces are inspired by the beautiful Scottish scenery encountered on their travels.

We provide the bar and subdued lighting - all you need do is sit back and relax for an evening of smooth music in a cosy nightclub atmosphere.

Tickets cost £10 and are available from Kelly (382101), Svava (382074) or online below. There's free admission for accompanied under 16's. Numbers are limited so please don't leave it to the last minute!
