Welcome to Garrigill Village Hall

Here you'll find lots of helpful information about Garrigill and our village hall: places to stay, camping, local facilities and events, weather, village news and much more. See this video introduction to all that Alston Moor offers throughout the seasons in the high North Pennines, a Unesco Global Geopark and the UK's second largest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Part of Cumbria, yet nowhere nearly as well known as the Lake District, we cordially invite you to enter into our special world.

The Village Hall may be available for hire - please ask the bookings secretary. The bunkroom, campsite and, save at weekends, the public toilets remain closed until further notice. Access to the defibrillator is unaffected.

From Monday 26 October to Friday 30 October we have children's activities to keep young stargazers busy during half-term. Visit the North Pennines Stargazing Week page for more information.

You could be onto a winner. Find out how here.
