Food and drink

The bunkroom has a large dining table if you're self-catering you are welcome to use our kitchen facilities. 

The village post office stores stocks fresh and packaged food and drinks. They're usually open until 4pm on weekdays, Tuesdays until noon and also on Saturday morning. You can phone them on 01434 381257 to enquire about placing a grocery order for collection outside opening hours. 

Our village pub, the George & Dragon, is currently closed and undergoing a major makeover. There are pubs, cafes and restaurants in Alston which is five miles away.
