At your service

Our fully refurbished Hall - warm, light and welcoming - enhances village life with a pleasant environment for meeting, interacting and strengthening community ties. From hosting live bands, parties and theatre to film club and supper evenings, the Hall plays host to a multitude of events and is available for private hire, overnight stays and daytime use. We also offer bunkroom and camping facilities as well as free wifi.

Our facilities

The main hall seats around 80 people in a theatre-style arrangement. Four-person and larger eight-person tables to seat around 50 people are included in the hire. Up to 30 persons can sleep in the hall - a number of camp beds are available but no bedding is provided.

Our kitchen provides you with all you need including a large range cooker, commercial dishwasher, microwave and fridge as well as crockery and utensils

The upstairs area doubles as a meeting room for up to a dozen people and a bunk room sporting eight comfy bunk beds and two comfy sofas

Facilities include a drying room for all those wet togs. Pictured below is our shower room with extra WC and wash basin facilities

Our 24/7 public toilets off the Hall foyer have wheelchair-accessible and baby changing facilities.

Hire the Hall

You can hire the Hall for meetings, community and social events and overnight stays.

Licensed for most forms of public entertainment and the sale of alcohol, we can usually run a licensed bar for your event at no extra cost if required.

Hourly rate £12, 4-hour session £45

6-hour session £60, 24 hours £150

Upstairs Room
Hourly rate £8,  4-hour session £30

6-hour session £40,  24 hours £100

Overnight Stay in Main Hall
£10 per person per night

(or there's always the bunkroom £15 pppn)


Included is the use of the kitchen and other facilities, including free wifi. Other rates may apply to local community meetings and private social events. Local charity fundraising events are normally free of charge.


Availability and Booking
To enquire about availability or make a booking, please contact the bookings secretary. You can pay by card over the telephone or by cash or cheque.  Booking Conditions apply - please read them along with our Village Hall User Guide to help make your booking enjoyable and trouble free.....and if you're organising an event involving more than 30 people, our Fire Precautions for Events Guide is a must.
