We offer camping facilities for individuals and small groups on the field behind the Hall. We charge £5 per person per night or £3.50 for participants in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme or similar bona fide youth activity. The campsite is open most times of the year. No dogs please - the field is shared with a children's playground.
Although not a fully serviced campsite, we do try to provide the minimum basic facilities to a good standard. An outdoor washing-up area and standpipe (cold water only) are available behind the Hall. Two shower cubicles and a drying room within the Hall are available by prior arrangement, cost £2 per person.
The Hall's toilets are open to the public 24/7 and located just off the foyer. They comprise two ladies cubicles and a single gents cubicle and urinal. There are also wheelchair-accessible and baby changing facilities.
For larger groups wishing to organise events involving camping, there is space for about eight to ten ‘family’ tents or 15 - 20 small tents. To check in advance that the field is fully available for your group, please contact the Bookings Secretary, at firstname.lastname@example.org, telephone 01434 647516.
While vehicles and caravans are not permitted on the field, trailers and trailer tents may be hand pushed onto it via the accessway (narrowest point 2.3m/7'6") alongside the Hall. Limited parking is to be found next to the public telephone box and on the roadside in the village centre.
