You can hire Garrigill Village Hall for meetings or community and social events. For overnight stays, please click here. Bookings can only be made through the Bookings Secretary (see below).

Approximately 6m x 12m (20’ x 40’), the main hall seats around 80 people in a ‘theatre style’ arrangement, or about 50 seated at tables. Four-person and larger eight-person tables are included in the hire.  

The upstairs room is ideal for meetings of up to 12 people. The kitchen has been newly refurbished, with a large ‘range’ cooker, commercial dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer. Our toilets have wheelchair-accessible and baby changing facilities.

The Hall is licensed for most forms of public entertainment and the sale of alcohol. With sufficient advance notice, we can usually run a licensed bar for your event if required.

These charges include the use of the kitchen and other facilities. Other rates may apply to local community meetings and private social events.  The Hall is normally free of charge for local charity fundraising events. 

 

Availability and Booking

To enquire about availability or proceed with a booking, please contact the Bookings Secretary on 01434 647516 or at bookings@garrigillvh.org who will confirm the cost and whether any damage deposit is required. Apart from such deposit, you can pay the hire charge on arrival either by cash or cheque in favour of "Garrigill Village Hall".

To confirm your booking, would you please complete and print a booking form. Be sure to read our terms and conditions of hire before you sign and return it along with a cheque for the damage deposit where applicable.
