Garrigill Village Hall is at the heart of the vibrant village community. From hosting live bands, parties and theatre to film club and supper evenings the hall has played host to a multitude of events. The hall is also available for private hire, for overnight stays or daytime use.

After many years of fundraising, 2012 saw the hall closed for major refurbishment.  We now have a fully modernised building, warm, light and welcoming.  We see the village hall as being a key facility to help maintain the sustainability of the village, by working together with the pub, the village shop / Post Office, and other businesses.

The extension to the hall, the new showers and cycle store are supported by the Rural Development Fund for England, for which Defra is the Managing Authority, part financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development: Europe investing in rural areas.
